About Our Trip
Escape with Jess Culotta of Adventure Abroad to Lake Atitlan, a magical crater lake located in the heart of Guatemala.
This retreat will provide you with the perfect opportunity to relax, adventure, and explore a remote and safe part of the world that will open your heart and your perspective to what could be.
Our trip begins with an overnight stay in the colonial city of Antigua, where the group will gather. You'll have time to explore the unique architecture, funky boutiques, and bars and restaurants of Antigua, as well as hike up to "Cerro de la Cruz", the highest point in the city. On day 2, we will make our way to Lomas de Tzununa, a lakefront hotel with a relaxing vibe, and stunning views of Lake Atitlan.
Our days will include daily yoga classes with Jess, locally sourced meals, two included excursions, and plenty of time to disconnect and recharge amongst the stunning hillside grounds of Lomas de Tzununa and Lake Atitlan. Our retreat center features an on-site pool, temazcal sauna, and restaurant / lounge area, all available for you to enjoy!
Love to stay busy? Your week will include opportunities for kayaking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, horseback riding, zip lining, and cooking classes. Boat rides are readily available to visit neighboring villages and experience local food, markets, and some of the best textile and arts shopping in Central America.

This room features one double bed and set of twin bed bunk-beds, sleeping a total of 3 people. This room also includes a private bathroom with on demand hot water, and a private deck overlooking Lake Atitlan.

Double Occupancy with Private Bath $2099
Perfect for two friends seeking a bit more privacy, or a couple, this room features one double bed and one twin bed, sleeping a total of 2 people. This room also includes a private bathroom with on demand hot water, and a private deck overlooking Lake Atitlan.

Single Occupancy with Private Bath $2399
Ideal for the solo traveler seeking their own private space, this room features one double bed and one twin bed. This room also includes a private bathroom with on demand hot water, and a private deck overlooking Lake Atitlan.

Retreat Cancellation Policy: The $400 USD deposit is non-refundable. In case you need to cancel 60 days prior to the retreat start date, we will provide a 100% refund minus the $400 USD non-refundable deposit. In case you need to cancel 30 days prior to the retreat start date, we will provide a 70% refund minus the $400 USD non-refundable deposit. In case you need to cancel with less than 30 days notice prior to the retreat start date, 100% is non-refundable. The $400 USD deposit is non-transferrable. In the unlikely event of Adventure Abroad cancelling the retreat, we will provide a full credit, including the deposit, to be used on future travel with Adventure Abroad.
